A chess game for percussionists

Connor Shafran published this great recording of a chess game with a difference, as played by two percussionists at the Summer Arts Camp at Interlochen, Michigan. The game they played was a remake of the famous 1956 battle between Donald Byrne and Bobby Fisher, featuring the same moves and rhythms in sync with the flow of the game. Shafran and friend Eric Poe both composed and performed this duel of rhythmic skill. Credit: Connor Shafran.
